Hello, ladies! Spring is here, and it’s time to start digging out your clothes from last season. The only problem is, you feel like you are stuck in last season with nothing new to wear, and the lack of an edge. Fear not, we are here to help! With a few new items, you can transform your wardrobe and keep up with some Spring 2014 trends.
A few of our favorites are:
1. Tea Length Skirts
We are seeing a lot of tea length skirt appearances across Pinterest and the fashion world! I love the classy, almost retro look they give to this season. If you have trouble finding a skirt you like in stores, take one of your favorite maxi’s from last year and hem it a few inches!
2. Mixing Stripes with Florals
This Spring is all about being BOLD and expressing your personality. We love the look of pairing a nautical stripe with a bright floral pattern. For even more “pop”, wear colored pants, and to tone it down choose a neutral bottom color.
3. Pastel Color Blocking
Take your favorite pastel colors from last Spring (or grab some new ones) and pair them together in a color blocking outfit. When choosing colors, stick to two or three complementary colors of the best results (as shown below).
4. Patterned Pants
Patterned pants made an appearance last Spring, and are back with a bang this season! The look paired below with a chambray shirt is really classy and cool. You really can’t go wrong with this look whether you are shopping with your gal’s or a day in the office!
