It has been a little over a year since I came across The Simply Beloved over social media. I remember reading about who they were what their purpose for this ministry was and thinking, God is going to use this…. these women… and His word to impact so many wonderful ladies! It has not only been a privilege, but an honor being a part of the TSB team for this past year.
For me, The Simply Beloved is used as a platform to encourage women in the truth of the gospel, to live God’s word out daily, practically and together as a community.
TSB has proved to be an outlet for women to share more than just on a surface level. It provides a place where women can be vulnerable and relate to one another on a deeper level. It has been used as a means to learn, grow and pray together and for one another.
One major truth that I have learned in my walk with the Lord is that we are not meant to live this life alone. There are reasons God intends us to live life within a community of believers, and alongside one another. TSB has produced a way to create an expanding community of women who can come together and fellowship under one commonality and one headship. There is so much love behind the goal to encourage each other to be kingdom servers for others in the ways that God has called us to.
Because of this, I have experienced, and witnessed, the Lord continuing to grow in myself and these beautiful women around me through this ministry.
There is an abundance of evidence showing God’s grace with women actively living out scripture here.
For example: sharpening one another and challenging each other, spurring one another on toward love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25), encouraging others to press on and forward in difficult times, carrying one another’s burdens, rejoicing with each other over answered prayers and praise reports, as well as simply experiencing God’s joy in just having fun together!
The reality of community exists here because there is action taking place out of the understanding to love others as God loves us.
“The person who loves their dream of community will destroy community, but the person who loves those around them will create community.”
Lastly, I want to point out that this ministry has built ways for creative avenues and has made it a home for expression in different ways of what we believe in. We were created by a creator in His image… which means we are created to create. In our own unique ways this allows the use of vast talents to impact people to a greater degree.
This one little link that you are starring at on the top of your web browser page isn’t just another website… or blog… it has been created for a reason and has a purpose…
We are that reason.
You click on that link and you are joining a family, a group of women who show genuine love and care for where you are at, whats going on in your life and who are eager to serve with you and alongside of you as well as bless you in their actions. I could go on and on about how some of these wonderful ladies have served me and walked with me in ways that I can’t even express my deepest gratitude. Without this blog I wouldn’t have gained the friendships I know will last more than a lifetime.
There is a lot of prayer and thought that has gone into building this ministry and it doesn’t stop. It shows through how God is working through this blog and continuing to transform lives because of it.
My prayer is that we would continue to be a ministry who strives to unify the body of Christ within the community that has been created here with TSB, as well as other people, companies and blogs who are like-minded and reaching for the same goals.
Also, that the Lord would continue to use this blog and ministry to reach women seeking truth, hope, and a community who loves Jesus…. Because I know that this ministry has proved to be a huge source of encouragement and blessing in my life and has impacted me more than words will ever express.
How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
